We cater for boys and girls from school year 4 and above who want to learn and enjoy cricket. All new players will be welcomed, whether you want to give it a try or you want to be a future England star.

Indoor coaching sessions are run from around February to early April each year at a local sports hall. The cricket club provides well structured and well executed coaching sessions delivered by our team of ECB Level 2 qualified coaches to allow young players to develop and practise their cricket skills, whilst ensuring that they get the most out of these sessions and youth cricket matches.

From early April and through the summer we run 'club nights' at our ground. These are held on every Friday evening, weather permitting, from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. Parents are encouraged to come along and join in - there is a BBQ and the club bar will be open serving the full range of refreshments.

We run youth cricket teams at U11, U13 & U15 age groups which play in the Bristol Youth Cricket League. In the past our youth teams have enjoyed a great deal of success in local competitions and many of our young players have been selected to play for the Gloucestershire County and South Gloucestershire youth teams. The pinnacle of our successful was in 2010 when our U17 team were West of England regional cup winners qualifying for the inter-regional stages, where they narrowly lost out to South Wales.

Many of our young players go on to play in our senior XIs, our 1st XI squad currently has 8 players that have progressed from our Youth Section. Youth and Senior cricket is well integrated allowing such progression.

All of our coaches, team managers and volunteers are DBS cleared, and the cricket club has a dedicated Club Welfare Officer, to ensure safe surroundings for everyone to learn to play the game of cricket. The cricket club is affiliated to the Gloucestershire Cricket Board.
